Video number 6 in my 'All The Mods' series is a journey into what a stupid amount of money looks like when it's applied artistically to a 1976 Yamaha RD400C. This was no ordinary resto-mod from barely running stock to a high performance, track-day worthy, vintage street tracker. My son and I modified or improved on almost every part and piece of this moto but also give cudos to Scott Clough for his Stage 1 porting of the engine top end. This moto is nicknamed 'The Beast' - you have to watch the video to find out why. I didn't include a ride segment at the end but I can guarantee that this RD is a unique experience in history, performance, and the irrational love us mature riders have to two strokes. Enjoy the video.
