Sunrise on the Reaping is the newest prequel to The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. This book promised a look into the way that propaganda works, the dangers of implicit submission, and how it is that the many are governed by the few.
I just finished reading this book and as with any Hunger Games book: we need an analysis. In this video I examine the different examples of propaganda used by both the Capitol and the tributes. Of course, we analyze Haymitch and his actions in the arena, and how Panem is starting to change. But most importantly, how the Capitol succeeded in breaking Haymitch but failed to stop Katniss.
