Recently, I got an email from "Bob," a 54-year-old blue belt who trains at a more sport-oriented Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym.
During a roll with a young college wrestler in his 20s, he got injured, which has made him question whether he wants to continue training in BJJ.
With that in mind, he started looking into other options and found a Gracie University Jiu-Jitsu gym about 30 minutes from his house. He's considering giving it a try.
He says there are aspects he likes, but he's also concerned it might be a McDojo.
He reached out to ask what I think about Gracie University gyms.
So I give my bearded opinion on it. And if you train at a Gracie University gym, feel free to drop your comments with your experiences.
Hopefully, you guys enjoy the video. As always, thanks for watching!
