From July 1st, 2024. Even now I wish there were others here I’ve known for years to see this rare treat. Before going back home for dinner this lovely late pleasant Monday afternoon I decided after seeing it come by then right on thru downtown Saint Louis on the live trains YouTube gratiot camera to stick around here at Kirkwood Amtrak station for it. It was a good choice. I knew I had to get this train on video so here it is. Came by the depot at 5:19 pm central daylight time. It’s an all loaded military train passing by Kirkwood station on the Union Pacific Jefferson City sub on track 1 bound for Jefferson City Missouri then onto Kansas City Missouri via the Sedalia sub from Jeff city. It’s being led by a single Union Pacific Gevo #5426. I also had to wonder as it passed by here at lindbergh aka Kirkwood road what kind of military vehicles these all are which we are seeing here and where out west they are all headed to? Hopefully someone can answer that question for me in the comments section below. They look like trucks along with other trucks pulling their own accompanying trailers. They are all colored in a nice mostly green camouflage type color. My two good friends Noland Tipton, and Even Osser who also have their own YouTube channels were also here with me to see this neat westbound train go by the Kirkwood Amtrak station. Hope you all like this wonderful video by me. Feel free to comment on it too. Enjoy! Jason.
