On Saturday 28th September 2024, the Australian Railway Historical Society ran a steam train excursion from the Workshops Rail Museum in Ipswich, up to Toowoomba for the 75th Carnival Of Flowers.
Steam Locomotive BB18 ¼ 1079 was rostered to haul the 6 carriage train in varying weather conditions.
It was great to see this tour being run, after being absent since 2019.
