This year, we have more sunny days than usual, making it a winter without snow or icicles.
On chilly mornings like these, a warm breakfast is the greatest comfort.
I prepared a simple yet heartwarming meal using a seiro (bamboo steamer) to steam bread, vegetables, and a soft, cheesy omelet.
Once my body warmed up, I felt lighter and more energized.♪
I took care of small daily tasks—sweeping the stairs and garden, watering bulbs, and preparing breakfast for the birds.
In the afternoon, I made candied kumquats and arranged muscari bulbs in a planter, bringing a touch of early spring to my home.
