In this video, I head out to my local wildlife area to photograph and film common buzzards in the UK. Along the way, I share my personal journey with mental health—how it affected me and how reconnecting with nature played a huge role in my recovery, alongside counseling.
Wildlife has an incredible power to heal, and spending time outdoors with a camera has been a game-changer for me. Whether it’s the thrill of capturing a buzzard in flight or the simple peace of being in nature, I hope my story resonates with others who might be going through tough times.
I filmed this using the Sony A1 with a 400mm f/2.8 GM lens for wildlife shots and the DJI Pocket Osmo 3 for vlogging.
