The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 2 was released in 2014. They were meant for high-class ultraportable use. They bolstered fast dual core CPUs and aimed to tackle the rise of MacBooks and other premium ultrabook laptops. This generation of ThinkPad featured some questionable design choices that separated it from other mainstream laptops. Let's see what they are, and if they're any good.
