Xi’an, China - Today we’re going to eat one of the most famous Chinese noodles in Xi’an, which is called Liangpi (凉皮) or cold skin noodles. There are many different types and varieties, so that’s why we are going to try two very different versions so we can compare them. Let’s go try some Liangpi!
Wuxin Steamed Rice Roll - First spot is very popular locally and they serve classic Xi’an style Liangpi (凉皮) with chili oil. They also serve the famous Xi’an pork burgers.
Price - 8 RMB ($1.14) - noodles, 9 RMB ($1.28) pork burger
Zhiliang Lamb Dumplings - Next up, we’re heading to the Muslim Quarter in Xi’an to eat a Halal version of lianpi, loaded with sesame butter and chili oil. They also have lamb dumplings that are out of this worl!
