We closely covered the renowned shop 'Criollo', so popular that hundreds of people line up every Christmas. Chef Santos, a world-class patissier who won the Best Taste Award at 'World Pâtisserie 2009' and has appeared in numerous media outlets, including 'Matsuko no Shiranai Sekai', may already be familiar to many. As of 2024, 'Criollo' operates three stores: the main shop in Tokyo’s Kotake-Mukaihara, one in Nakameguro, and one in the booming Azabudai Hills. It is truly one of the best cake shops in Japan.
This time, we filmed the production of their hugely popular Christmas cakes sold online. The decorations differ slightly from those sold in-store, but the taste remains just as delicious. If it’s hard for you to stand in line at the store, be sure to check them out online!
