The documentary explores the richness and complexity of the mental aspects experienced in the practice of climbing and how it can become a therapeutic tool. In a poetic tone and surrounded by a magnificent scenic beauty, several climbers of different ages and sensibilities describe their experiences and also profound reflections supported by scientific evidence which will be explained by expert psychologists. Narrated in first-person by director, she expresses several concerns that unleash an inner exploration through the exchange of emotions and thoughts she shares with climbers of different sensibilities and experts in sports psychology.
Throughout the documentary we will discover Andalusian climbing areas of singular beauty such as Cerro del Hierro (Seville), La Muela (Cadiz) and Alfarnatejo (Malaga).
In the journey through the different mental aspects, creativity, mental training, overcoming fears, environmental awareness and, finally, the therapeutic side of this sport and the studies that endorse this new modality are dealt with.
