In this video I teach you how to create a 4 color limited color palette color study using acrylic paints on paper. This exercise is designed to help you loosen up, create beautiful and effortless compositions, and dive deeper into understanding color and color theory. It's a fun project that will give you interesting results every time.
Materials used:
Paints - Liquitex quinacridone magenta, Liquitex parchment, Liquitex Payne's gray and Golden green gold (all heavy body acrylics)
Substrate - Strathmore acrylic paper
Medium - Liquitex matte gel
Tools - Princeton brand Catalyst silicone wedge, filbert brushes and round brushes
Masking tape (¼" wide)
