I flew Condor's business class "Prime Seat" across the Atlantic on the German airline's new A330-900neo.
Condor is a German leisure airline founded in 1956 operating a hub at Frankfurt Airport. Since it's founding Condor has operated European-tourist routes to sunny holiday spots and eventually expanded to long-haul flights across Africa, Asia, North America, South America and the Caribbean.
In the 2000's it steadily operated under Thomas Cook ownership until their sudden bankruptcy in 2019. With the help of a loan from Germany, a failed acquisition by LOT Polish Airlines, and a complete restructure and brand refresh by a British firm the airline has never been stronger!
My experience in Condor's business class was remarkable! The staff were friendly, all of the food served tasted great, and the Prime seat ($360 surcharge) was more comfortable than a likely pricier ticket on a stale Lufthansa flight. After this flight I genuinely believe Condor is a better airline than the more-serious corporate Lufthansa.
