Cornish pasties have been around for several centuries and are still very popular all over the UK. They started life in the county of Cornwall in south-west England and the folks down there are hugely protective of the traditional recipe. In fact, Cornish pasties are a protected product and you can only call it that if it is made in Cornwall and follows the specification laid down by the Cornish Pasty Association. In this video I follow the traditional recipe pretty closely. It needs gravy in it, in my opinion, but that's not allowed. Still, a very tasty thing, and not hard to make.
