In this video, we explore the world of time-intelligence calculations in Power BI using DAX coding.

Through an example, we explain how use the CALCULATE, DATEADD, and SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR functions in Power BI's DAX programming language. We start by changing the filter context for our existing measure, so that we obtain our measure for last year (under the current filter context). We then use the growth rate (or year-over-year) formula to create a percentage change year-over-year. In doing so, we also learn how to use DAX's DIVIDE function in Power BI.

Hope you enjoy this video and we'll see you in the next one!
