Mai Niness Kayange, a quiet lady who shot to prominence because of her son, Ras David Kadelele Chikomeni Chirwa, the controversial man who wanted to stand as an independent presidential candidate in the 2019 Elections.
She explains about her background as a member of her Secondary School all-girls band and her dancing in a cultural troupe.
She calmly talks about her son's exploits in politics in Malawi, how at first she didn't believe in his presidential bid and her shock when he named her his runningmate. She however affirms she believes and shares in her son's vision and cause. She believes every woman would do what she is doing if her son wanted to stand for president.
