Beetroot Kanji is a lightly fermented homemade probiotic drink. A traditional Northern Indian kanji is often made with their local black carrots. In the rest of India, where black carrots aren't available, we use beetroot as an additive.
It is very easy to make and has a lot of health benefits! In addition to it being a probiotic (and so great for your gut. It also works as a digestive aid and helps relieve gas and heartburn if taken regularly.
