In today's video I wanted to respond to a question I received. This question reads:

I am 55 years old and I was diagnosed with a disc herniation causing my back pain. I have had the pain for almost six months. My doctor said I should have an epidural steroid injection for my pain. Do epidurals work?

This a great question and it brings up a lot of interesting points to discuss. There is an easy two second answer, but that loses all context. I'm going to assume you want the full, no holds barred explanation so you can see it from different angles.

I hope I've answered your question and given you enough details and things to think about without overwhelming you too much. I think that's always a balance and, in that instance, I'd rather you have more than less information.
