Surviving the Freezing -12C Wilderness with Dollar Store Gear | Extreme Winter Survival Challenge
In this extreme survival challenge, I set out into the unforgiving Ontario wilderness with nothing but $50 worth of dollar store survival gear. With temperatures dropping to a bone-chilling -12°C at night and a thunder and lightning winter storm hitting around 8:30 PM, I had to rely on my wits and resourcefulness to make it through.
My only luxury? A -7°C rated sleeping bag to keep me warm overnight. Everything else was purchased on a strict budget from the dollar store—nothing fancy, just simple tools to help me survive in one of the harshest environments on Earth.
Can I make it through the night in these extreme conditions with only $50 worth of gear? Watch to find out how I handle the cold, the storm, and the unexpected challenges that come with surviving the winter wilderness of Ontario.
