The use of sighting for proportions in drawing is a useful tool in creating accurate drawings. But, how can you gain an even deeper understanding of what you’re drawing from observation, with even greater accuracy? The use of angles (triangulation), reference points or “landmarks” and plumb lines are the next step in constructing an accurate drawing. It takes lots of practice, but like any new language, practice makes perfect! Just have fun with it, and keep at it with a curious mindset to learn. You’ll surprise yourself:)
