Here is my easy bread bun recipe. Please like and subscribe and I hope you enjoy the freshly home baked bread.
Ingredients:
500g Strong Bread Flour
7g Sachet of Instant Yeast
1+1/2 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Large Tbsp Butter or Margarine
Approximately 300ml of Lukewarm Water
1 Small egg to glaze
Polenta to dust (optional)
Mix all dry ingredients except polenta. Add butter in small chunks and rub into the flour. Add warm water little by little until you form a dough. Knead until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and cover with a clean towel. Leave in a warm place until doubled in size. Lightly knead then divide into 8 pieces on a floured board. Roll into buns, place on a greased and floured baking tray. Glaze with whisked egg, dust with polenta, then slice a line through the middle of each bun - approx 2-3 centimetres deep. Cover with lightly greased cling film and leave in a warm place until risen, doubled in size. Bake in a hot oven at 200C for 15-20 minutes. Enjoy! :)
