I'm thrilled to introduce you to the world of engraved acrylic. By using our homemade engraving tool we built last week, we can engrave basically any shapes on a piece of clear acrylic. By using powerful LED lights the image, numbers or letters will light up. Here's a couple of things you will need:

Clear acrylic, preferably 4mm thick, can be found in your local hardware store. In Sweden the clear acrylic was $7 (4mm) and $4.5 (2mm), with a size of 300x300mm. As mentioned in the video, the base can be made from basically any material. I used scrap pieces of wood, and a pieceof 6mm white foam.
