I'll leave the recipe for my favorite cod roe spaghetti. It's a traditional Japanese recipe that is loved my lots of people. If you have cod roe and mentsuyu (Noodle soup base), you should try it out! shiso (Japanese herb) and seaweed flakes are optional. You can use spring onion instead.
🔶Ingredients for cod roe spaghetti
Spaghetti noodles (serves 1)
1/2 cod roe
10g of butter
2tbsp of heavy cream
1/2tbsp of mentsuyu (Noodle soup base)
plenty of shiso (Japanese herb)
plenty of seaweed flakes
✳︎ "Mentsuyu" is an all-purpose seasoning for Japanese food. It is made mainly from soup stock, soy sauce, mirin, sake and sugar.
