hello everyone! I'm so excited to share this make-along with you - I've created some sort of commemoration of Clement Moore's "Twas the Night Before Christmas" for many years now and this year I'm sharing with you how to make this cardboard mouse house.
I know many of us are already feeling stretched thin with all the holiday extras and many of us over-commit or over-intend during this time (I certainly do 🙄) but I do really hope that if it's at all possible, you find some time this season to do some things that really bring you joy.. maybe that's baking or designing an amazing Christmas letter or going all out with your tree decorating or maybe you, like me, would love to spend an afternoon making a tiny house for a mouse 😅🥰
Something about this little house really takes me back to childhood picture books.. maybe it reminds me of some of my favorite pop-up picture books..
This house is made from a small gift box and cardboard from my recycle stash - and requires very few other materials. You can make a house using whatever materials you have on hand or if you'd like, you can find the printable digital files available in my shop to decorate the inside and make the little mouse dolls.. I will also have a limited number of physical kits available for purchase.
