Originally, this bike was fully built, but the rider discovered an issue with the rear dropout, so the frame had to be sent out for repair. As a result, it wasn’t a complete build when I finished it, as I didn’t wrap the bars—that was done by the rider.
This is one of the lightest rim-brake bikes I’ve ever assembled, weighing in at 6.14 kg (13 lbs 9 oz). The wheelset alone, with tires, latex tubes, and a Dura-Ace cassette, weighed 2.12 kg. I forgot to measure the frame weight, so I’m not sure how much it contributes to the total weight.
