We surprised the kids at Christmas (only one had any idea what was going on) with a trip to Walt Disney World. Fast forward a few months and it was travel day, first driving down from our home in Scotland to Manchester to catch our flight with Virgin Atlantic over to Orlando. Don't expect a glamorous and detailed travel day to vlog - with two young kids this day is all about survival.
We did survive, and so it was onto her first time every in Walt Disney World. Of course, there was only one place we could possibly start. Magic Kingdom to see the castle that the (Disney) world revolves around. Our first day was all about taking it in, finding our way and catching the parade so rides were limited. Which is just as well that was the plan because the queues were looooonng. But it was a great day topped off with a quick chat with fellow Scot, Merida. A day that sets us up for the next two weeks in Orlando.
