Today I have a look at how to make patchwork paper scrolls made from paper scraps. Starting from simply scraps, I will show step-by-step, from blank backing paper, to the patchwork, and then to adding texture, layer, and depth with a variety of mixed media techniques including stencils, splatters, and drizzles. Then the scroll is attached to a spool or sticks and that’s it! The paper scroll can then be display or unrolled and used as fodder in your journals and other work.
