Gain riding describes the process of adjusting the audio level of a recording so that every take and every spoken word reaches the same peak and no part is louder than others. This can be a lengthy manual task, you can do it with the help of external plugins, or you can let REAPER do the job for you with a little trick which i'm showing you in this video.
