In this video I go over how genetic mapping is completed between linked genes using the two-point testcross. I begin with a brief history about Thomas Hunt Morgan and Alfred Sturtevant's work with drosophila and then define a map unit based on recombination frequency. I then discuss some limitations to genetic mapping such as double crossovers. Finally I show an example of two-point test cross genetic mapping.
