There's a key difference to growing great lavender in a pot or container: to be successful, you need to pay far more attention to watering. Once established in the landscape, lavender is drought tolerant. However, it relies on an extensive root system to pull moisture from the soil. In a pot, the "reservoir" of soil is far more limited. I also discuss how to prune lavender in the plug/productions stages as well as for a mature plants.
