This video shows trains arriving and departing one after another at Ibarakishi Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line during the weekday evening rush hour (from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.). The video shows Hankyu trains, including limited express, semi-express, semi-express, and local (local trains), as well as Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line trains (66 series).
Limited express and semi-express trains also ran with PRiVACE cars, a reserved seat service that began in July 2024. The fourth car (car 4) from the Osaka Umeda side was a reserved seat PRiVACE car, and the video was shot mainly around car 4.
One PRiVACE-coupled semi-express train bound for Kyoto Kawaramachi, departing from Ibarakishi, is also shown.
An electronic display board showing the availability of PRiVACE seats was also installed near the boarding gate on the platform.
There was also an "Osaka-Kansai Expo Wrapping Train" running, featuring designs such as Myakumyaku, the official character of the Osaka-Kansai Expo. Four local trains appear in the video.
This is the evening time when you can see the "semi-express" trains that began running with the timetable change in December 2022. Commuter express trains do not run during this time because they are now only available in the morning due to the timetable change. Some express trains are also shown.
There are two island platforms and four tracks, with tracks 1 and 2 heading towards Kyoto Kawaramachi, and tracks 3 and 4 heading towards Osaka Umeda and Tengachaya.
During this time, local trains bound for Ibaraki City also operate from Tengachaya.
After arriving at track 2 with a "forwarding" sign, the train bound for Ibaraki City (stopping at this station) enters the siding on the Kyoto Kawaramachi side, turns around, and becomes a train bound for Tengachaya starting from Ibaraki City, and there are also trains that depart for Osaka as forwarding trains.
