On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, I am presenting the Bandish “Hara Hara Mahadeva” written and composed by my Bade Guru ji Pt. Damodar Hota(Swara Rang) based on the Raag "Malkaunse". He had dedicated his entire life to serve Hindustani as well as Odissi music in Odisha. He is been an inspiration to me all this while and this piece of work is a small attempt to show my respect to him.
I collaborated with one of the finest classical artists in Veena, Vidwan Sri Phani Narayana Garu to create this master piece which represents both Hindustani and Carnatic style of performance. Hopefully, this classical piece will delight my listeners. Thank you!
