Let's take another look at some past videos from South Georgia, centered around the hard working EMDs in the Macon area. Many of these locomotives do not exist today in their presented state in these clips. However, a number of them still perform daily tasks for Norfolk Southern. Locomotives include but are not limited to the SD60, SD40-2, SD60M, both high-hood and standard cab GP38-2, GP40-2, new at the time SD33ECO, and more! Not only could you see these units routinely in local and yard service (and still can to some extent), but also frequented road trains to and from various points around south Georgia and Florida, something that rarely happens today.
