Video Not Working? Fix It Now

The song at the end of this video is a clip from the Enfierce song Clarent from the album Enfierce. The tempo and mood of the song lent themselves to a very open, dark ride cymbal sound with a lot of spread underneath, which meant these two cymbals were perfect. I put them on the kit at the same time as all of the percussion since they were all part of the back kit from the covid days, and I have found an increasing number of uses for these cymbals in the main kit.

I get a lot of questions about the gear I use, so I decided to make some videos explaining each piece of the kit. Brace yourself, this is full on nerdery territory here, with backstories, explanations, demonstrations, and even clips from actual songs you can find anywhere you get music from.

I recommend listening on good speakers or headphones. The depth and richness of some of the sounds is extremely hard to appreciate through phone or computer speakers.
