The song at the end of this video is a clip from the Herd of Bison song The Nomad from the album Lord Buffalo. I had a lot of fun putting this section together, trying to make sure that it grooves underneath of the rapping and yet uses a more classical orchestration around the kit to help keep a swirling, mysterious mood going on. Hopefully it worked.
I get a lot of questions about the gear I use, so I decided to make some videos explaining each piece of the kit. Brace yourself, this is full on nerdery territory here, with backstories, explanations, demonstrations, and even clips from actual songs you can find anywhere you get music from.
I recommend listening on good speakers or headphones. The depth and richness of some of the sounds is extremely hard to appreciate through phone or computer speakers.
