The surgery to fix hip dysplasia sounded brutal, so she tried to heal her hip pain without surgery. This is her story of recovery from hip pain, a hip labral tear, and hip dysplasia.

23:47 Words of Advice for Hip Pain and Dysplasia
Hip Dysplasia (DDH) doesn't mean you MUST suffer with hip pain. Erica was told that DDH lead to a tiny hip labrum tear, and that she needed to go through PAO (periacetabular osteotomy) to fix her hips and prevent future hip problems. She wanted an alternative to PAO, and she found it with exercise. Exercise can improve hip stability when you have hyper mobile hips. Muscles control the movement of bones are the most obvious, least invasive solution for hip instability.
