HMV Consort J8 Transistor Radio Repair, Restoration and Replica 276P Battery

I found a 1963 HMV Consort transistor radio for sale in Melbourne, it was the same as my father bought to take on a caravan trip with my Mum and myself in the same year. I've been looking for one and this one was in very good condition. I'm not too good with transistor sets so don't hold up much chance when I find it doesn't work. I also make a replica 276P Eveready battery to finish it off.
