In this video, part 2, we continue the process of assembling a mini-me vtec build Honda engine. the bottom end is from a D15Z4 non-vtec and the cylinder head is a P08 SOHC vtec head from a D16Z6.
We fit the pistons, crank, girdle, oil pump, bolt down the cylinder head and fit the cambelt.

Mini-me (Frankenstein for B-series) build is when you fit a vtec head on a non-vtec block to increase performance and add vtec to an engine that originally did not have vtec. this used to be a common build back in the mid-2000s before B Series engines became more affordable.
The plan for this engine is to be boosted with the aim of about 220whp/160wkw using all stock and spare shop parts.
