After seven months of hard work, the curved inner city viaduct at Chandwell is finished! Scratch-built from card, this viaduct, which curves 90 degrees, is the centrepiece of the Chandwell N Gauge model railway layout.
These final three arches caused me many problems, not least of which was how to arrange them so close to the junction. I also had a varnish failure, and some challenges with the buttresses.
This video shows how I made the final three viaduct arches and highlights some challenges that you may wish to avoid on your own scratch built structures!
Next video will be showing you all the mistakes I made with my viaduct and will help you avoid them. If you don't want to miss that, please subscribe.
