There are so many different ways to bind a quilt! That’s why we started a series here on YouTube which will teach you all the different ways you can bind your quilts! In this video, we will teach you how to do big stitch binding on your quilt! Big stitch binding is a great choice as it allows you to both secure, and add interest to your binding at the same time. Rather than using an invisible stitch, like you typically would when hand binding a quilt, you’ll be using a stitch with a little more flair. Whether you choose a running stitch like we did, an x or v stitch, a blanket stitch, french knots or a snowflake stitch this technique will add a fun decorative finish to your quilt.
