Wearable Art! This is a diy/tutorial on how to upcycle a thrifted blazer. Mine is pink tweed, but yours can be anything you want. We will create a beautiful and romantic collage using flower applique, bird applique from a pillow cover, vintage lace, ribbon detail and vintage mother of pearl buttons. We will also be adding a layered ruffle and fringe to the sleeves and bottom. Create a one of a kind piece to wear or sell (like I did for many many years). I try my best to give detailed, understandable instructions, this is more like a class. * MY ETSY SHOP: https://www.etsy.com/shop/tmyershandmade?ref=shop_sugg_market TIPS FOR UPCYCLING LACE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hyit7ZJHZcs IF YOU LIKE THIS, YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE THE VIDEOS BELOW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpqZLiqL-6I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rmAhFDPayM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGX-Erwn8pA ITEMS I USE IN MY SEWING ROOM: Brother sewing machine: https://amzn.to/3O2JONR Rotary cutter and mat set: https://amzn.to/3O0hACf Tailors chalk: https://amzn.to/3XEodOM Pink power electric scissors: https://amzn.to/3NEzgTB Fiskars sewing scissors: https://amzn.to/3CYqZFc ''As an Amazon associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.''
