Video Not Working? Fix It Now

In statistics, we typically use a two-tailed (non-directional) alternative hypothesis. This video illustrated how and when to conduct a test with a one-tailed (directional) alternative hypothesis. This example uses a one-sample t-test, but this same technique will work for every other directional test available in JASP. After illustrating the technique, I discuss the difference in POWER between a one-tail and two-tail test. We will open a CSV dataset in JASP, check the assumptions of the test, conduct the one sample t-test, interpret the findings, and write up the results in APA style.

This video uses the dataset Ritalin.csv and JASP version 11.1
