In this video I show how to fit (or replace) a stair newel post to a wooden floor using the ZIPBOLT slip fit newel post fastener / fixing kit. I show how to cut down an old newel post, how to prepare the floor, how to drill both the post and floor to accept the fixing kit, how to secure the post into place using the fixing kit, and how to make a wood plug to fill the hole created and finish the newel post.
