Let me share with you my approach on learning the fretboard notes efficiently. It's One String Approach! Let's play simple C Major Scale on 2nd string with understanding each name of notes (C D E F G A B C), degrees (R M2 M3 P4 P5 M6 M7 R), Ear Training (Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do). Once you understand C Major scale well on 2nd string. You can apply this scale on other strings too. Pay attention each note and play them super slowly thinking about name of notes, degrees and Do Re Mi... then you can pick one note. Then connect same note in different location of that same note. I demonstrated that for you.
Once you are familiar with C Major scale. You're ready to challenge to play C minor scale (Natural minor / Aeolian scale) = R M2 b3 P4 P5 b6 b7 R. So pay attention on b3 b6 b7. My Guitar Wisdom members, please check this lesson. https://tfujita.today/Aeolian
