المقادير:

2 كيلو (4 باوند) لفت
نصف حبة صغيرة شمندر
2 فصوص ثوم حجم وسط
3 اكواب (720 مل) ماء
كوب (240 مل) خل التفاح
4 ملاعق طعام (70 غرام) ملح خشن

Ingredients:

2 kilo (4 pounds) turnip, washed
1/2 small beet, sliced
2 medium cloves garlic, sliced
3 cups (720 ml) water
1 cup (240 ml) apple cider vinegar
4 tbsp (70 g) coarse salt

🌹Instructions🌹

1. With a sharp knife cut both ends of the turnips. Peel and slice into 1/2 inch thick slices. Cut into sticks (as you see in the video).

2. Arrange the turnips, the beets, and the garlic in a 2 liters jar, making sure to pack down as much as you can. You will have a small quantity left over to feel a small jar.

3. In a medium pot, place the water and the vinegar. Bring to a boil on high heat. Add the salt and stir to dissolve about 1 minute.

4. Pour the brine immediately over the turnips and close the jar tightly. Store at room temperature. Pickles will be ready to serve in 2 weeks. Refrigerate after opening.
