Ingredients
1 can of flaky biscuits
Pie filling of your choice
Oil for frying
Powdered Sugar
On floured surface, roll out biscuits to 4 inch diameter. About the size of a coffee saucer.
Place a spoonful of pie filling in the center of the dough. Dampen outer edges of the dough with water, fold dough over filling and pinch the edges together. Seal using a fork.
In a cast iron skillet or Dutch oven, heat about 3/4 inch of oil on medium high heat to 350 degrees.
Add 3 to 4 Pies at a time to heated oil and cook approximately 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
Remove Pies from pan and place on cooling rack. Dust with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
