After clear-coating all of my terracotta drainage plates a few weeks ago and seeing how well they held up, I am here to share exactly how you can quickly and inexpensively seal your terracotta. Laura over on the Garden Answer channel recently did a video where she tested five different sealers on terracotta and she found that Rustoleum Ultra Cover Clear Gloss performed best and I would agree! I put it to the test as well by applying two coats on around 50 saucers and it has eliminated the water rings that previously appeared on my counter. Save your surfaces by sealing terracotta and say goodbye to those pesky watermarks.
