Plastic wrap, cling film, Saran wrap, Glad wrap - they are all the same thing and a fantastic way of adding abstract geometrical patterns and shapes to your watercolour paintings. If you bear a few things in mind, it is a really easy technique.

I will take you through a few dos and don'ts and share examples of paintings where I've used it. We'll go through a few techniques too and I'll show you how to get crisp edges.

Every week I share a tip, trick or technique, so if you enjoy this please think about subscribing.

In the next film, I will explore other ways of achieving similar marks using different materials. We all need to be cutting down on our single use plastic, so I hope it helps!
