Video Not Working? Fix It Now

There's a lot of advice out there about how to write a good college application essay. Unfortunately, most of it sucks. For the past fifteen years I've worked as a college application coach, helping students get into some of the most prestigious universities in the world, including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, and MIT, and it never ceases to amaze me how poorly even the brightest students understand what colleges really want to see. In this video, I'll address eight of the most common misconceptions I've encountered about the college application essay, focusing particularly on the main common application essay, commonly known as the personal statement. If you're applying to college, this video is a must watch, because there's a good chance that whatever you think you know is wrong.
