Hulk vs Broly, other than Goku vs Superman this is probably the next most popular manga comic book matchup within the community. After scaling dragon ball for sometime and knowing my buddy Chad had scaled hulk for just as long as I have been scaling, we decided to come together and give you guys the definitive Hulk vs Broly video. For this matchup we will be using both current versions of the character, Hulk in his most recent run and Broly from the Super Manga. With that aside if you guys want more crossverse matchups like this let me know down below, and with that aside, please enjoy. Starting us off we have the raging saiyan himself, Broly. Who in this timeline is no longer a raging baby who can wipe out galaxies, but rather a raging baby who can threaten entire dimensions collapsing. Seriously though, off of his introduction we saw broly being someone who wasn't even on the level of Base Vegeta, but due to just fighting for a little bit, his strength rapidly increased, leading into Vegeta even in his God Form being overwhelmed and Goku having to go all out just to be on par with Broly. Eventually, Frieza would kill Paragus, allowing him to tap into Super Saiyan, and as we know this forces Goku and Vegeta to fuse as even with their strength combined, Broly is unphased by their power. This leads to Gogeta emerging and even being forced to use Super Saiyan in their fight. We’re not sure if Gogeta did this in the manga but what we do know for sure in both the movie and manga is that Blue Gogeta just completely sauced on Broly and this guy probably doesn't scale to him. As for his speed well in Dragon Ball determining speed is pretty simple as we have multiple pieces of evidence to suggest the dragon ball world is infinite in size, and we’ve seen Buu, Goku, and pretty much most threats being able to destroy this infinite sized universe within a finite amount of time, granting them infinite speed. We know this for sure as well since even Granolah can blitz Instant Transmission, which thanks to official translations, we know that this technique does make you move instantaneously. The Hulk, at least the most known form of him, is Bruce Banner’s rage given form thanks to being exposed to the full force of a gamma bomb of his own making. Ever since that day Hulk has been on several superhero teams, he’s been to alternate universes, fought his own Hulk, and even met the creator of everything in Marvel, The One Above All. But when it comes to power scaling, you’ll find Hulk is probably the closest you’re gonna get to a Dragon Ball character in Western media. I mean he’s a big muscular guy, who generates insane levels of energy and is willing to fight anyone, whether it's purple, genocidal maniacs like Thanos or Gods like Thor. Not to mention he doesn’t have a good relationship with his dad, like Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo. Now when it comes to Hulk’s scaling there are plenty of avenues we could look to but being as his last few runs have been pushing the supernatural side of his mythos pretty strongly, I think I’ll look at how Hulk’s strength relates to the Hell Lords of Marvel Comics. Hell Lords such as Mephisto and Dormammu are also said to be pan-dimensional, with Dormammu’s Dark Dimension specifically sharing a similar statement. This all goes back to Hulk as not only was he a direct threat to the Dark Dimension but he’s also defeated a being far more powerful than Mephisto in the form of his own father, Brian Banner. Brian was acting as a puppet for The One Below All by possessing gamma mutates in the real world, he eventually possesses Hulk until the green giant easily defeats his physical form when Hulk ends up in Hell. Looking into speed while Hulk may not be that fast when running, it’s always been his combat, reaction, and attack speed that have been impressive. Being able to contend with anyone from Thor to Thanos, with the former being able to throw mjolnir. Hulk himself was also able to hit Silver Surfer during a time when the herald was mid-flight and amped after just absorbing a star. Why is this impressive? Well because Silver Surfer can casually travel through time with nothing but his speed alone, which would grant him immeasurable speed. When he’s pitted against something so long as he doesn’t get distracted, Hulk will usually be too stubborn to give up against them and will continue to get more powerful via his anger until he’s strong enough to eclipse his opponent. One of the best examples of this is during his battle with Onslaught, as he went from losing to the reality-warper to getting so angry that he just one shotted his body to the point it exploded. With their skill sets out the way, let's determine who's truly the strongest.
